Public speaking, voice acting and accent reduction classes
This is the most sought after program by the Ismailova Theatre of Dance Academy. Whether you want to improve your speech confidence, work on your accent, learn to do voice overs, improve your communication of presentation skills at work or school, this highly individualized program is for you!
Our voice classes are individually conducted on Zoom by highly qualified professional actors with experience in public speaking, accent reduction, voice overs and creative writing who hold Masters Degree in Theatre Studies.
Our classes are for students of all ages.
The program is based on each student's personal and career speech goals. Each class has dedicated time to focus on general speaking, voice, breathing, pronunciation, intonation skills that are aimed at improving your confidence and ease while speaking, conversing and performing in front of an audience. Further each student can choose an area of voice work to ficus on, including, but not limited to
- public speaking
- work presentation preparation
- voice overs for film, animation, commercials
- creating podcasts or Youtube videos
- job interview preparation
- acting audition preparation
- accent reduction
- developing diverse acting accents
- writing your own monologues, dialogues, speeches or scenes
- on camera acting
- TED talk preparation
- body language, breath, voice
Fees:
Tuition is $66 per 60 min class.

Here are several ways how our classes can help you reach your goals:
Work:
Our instructors can use topics and examples from your work and rehearse actual presentations or speeches that you can later use in your professional environment. We can also work on model conversations and situations to train spontaneous speaking skills. Prior to the first class, students are welcome to provide any materials, topics or speech texts that they would like to work on, if any. You don't have to send any materials, this is optional.
Accent reduction:
The instructor will identify areas of possible improvement in sound pronunciation and intonation and will work with the student on their personalized goals and objectives to improve speech clarity. The material for the classes can be based on the student's work or study topics, interview rehearsals or other material specific to the student's needs. Voice over:
We can help you reach your voice over goals including voice overs for film, animation, commercials. With the help and mentorship of our professional instructors you can develop your voice over portfolio, prepare for auditions and self tapes and simply enjoy creative expression working on voice overs for different mediums.
Writing:
Our instructors will be happy to help you with developing your writing, including, but not limited to business writing, speech writing, writing monologues, dialogues, scenes, poems, plays. You will further develop your writing vocabulary and literary instruments to become the best writer you can be.
