This is your last chance to see TOYLAND, don't miss it!
If you missed the premiere, we hope to see you in the theatre on January 22nd, Sunday at 7 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm).

The premiere of Toyland was sold out and got great reviews from the audience. This is what people have to say about the work of Ismailova Theatre of Dance:

"Fresh and juicy", Oscar

"Magical! One of the best shows of the Ismailova theatre". Mandy

"The dancers were talented, the costumes were beautiful and the face painting was excellent. Even better, the story line was compelling and demonstrated a keen social critique of succumbing to temptations such as hiding in the doll house because the alternative––growing up––can be dangerous and painful. Sincere thanks for a very special evening". Harvey and Laura

BEHIND THE DOOR

Ismailova Theatre of Dance proudly presents the premiere of BEHIND THE DOOR, an exciting new creation by choreographer and director Merey Ismailova.

The piece weaves together the lives of four apartment-dwelling neighbours in a unique blend of theatre and dance. As personal lives start to unfold and closed-door secrets are unlocked, the intricacies of human relationships become apparent. Sometimes it takes an extraordinary turn of events to reveal an individual's true personality.
Told through expressive physicality that combines tango, contemporary dance, rock-n-roll, contact improvisation and Eastern European folklore, BEHIND THE DOOR is a piece that will surely entertain.
