Synopsis:
Ismailova Theatre of Dance presents “Nightingale” - a physical theatre adaptation of the timeless fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen.
It’s the story of an unlikely friendship between the Emperor and a small nightingale. She cured his melancholy and brought him joy, but their friendship is tested when an unexpected gift arrives from overseas - a mechanical nightingale decorated with preсious stones. This new nightingale dazzles the eye, making the real nightingale’s inner beauty easy to overlook.

In the signature style of Ismailova Theatre of Dance, we tell this story — one that proves that love and art can’t be put in a cage.
